RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS APPROVING THE 2005 CONSOLIDATED AND ACTION PLAN FOR THE CITY, DATED NOVEMBER 1, 2004 INCLUDING THE 2005 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECTS (NOTE: THIS RESOLUTION WAS AMENDED BY RES-05:474 ON APRIL 19, 2005; RES-05:425 ON AUGUST 16, 2005; RES-06:339 ON MARCH 7, 2006; RES-07:210 ON JULY 17, 2007; RES-09:181 ON NOVEMBER 3, 2009)

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro is required to hold at least one public hearing and approve their Consolidated Action Plan for the fourth year of a Five Year Consolidated Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Consolidated Plan must include an Action Plan for the fourth year of the Five Year Consolidated Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Action Plan contains the year (2005) Community Development Block Grant Projects as recommended and approved by the Citizen Advisory and Grants Committee on October 12, 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the Consolidated Plan/Action Plan, dated November 1, 2004, attached hereto is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: That the year (2005) CDBG Projects is recommended and approved as a part of the Plan and are 100% Federal Funds with no City match.
SECTION 3: That the Mayor or Community Development Grants Coordinator is directed to sign all documents, as necessary to assure the 2005 Consolidated Plan/Action Plan is submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban Development on or about November 15, 2004.
SECTION 4: That any and all resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby waived.
SECTION 5: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
