AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2003 BUDGET, ORDINANCE NUMBER 3390, FOR THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas hereby appropriates $57,660.20 to come from the parking fund for the development of a strip park on Main Street, across from the Craighead County Courthouse, contingent on the dedication of the property to the City of Jonesboro by the Bank of America.

SECTION 2: This ordinance being necessary for the financial continuity of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas is hereby declared to be an emergency and shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
