AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 954, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CHANGES IN ZONING BOUNDARIES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 954 known as the zoning ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the changes in zoning classifications as follows:
From Residential (R-1) to Residential (R-2) the following described property:
Lot 1 according to the plat of Metzler's Replat of Lots 1, 2, 3 & 4 of Block A of Metzler Addition, together with Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 of Block A and Lots 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 of Block B and Lots 1 through 20 inclusive of Block C of Metzler Addition, less and excepting therefrom the east 145'.0 feet of Lot 7, Block B and the North 1.25 feet of the east 145.0 feet of Lot 8, Block B and the east 3.0 feet of Lot 22, Block B of Metzler Addition, and also less and excepting therefrom a portion of Lots 4, 16, 17 and 18, Block B of Metzler Addition, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 4, Block B aforesaid, thence westerly along the south line of said Lot 4 a distance of 120.0 feet to the southwest corner of said Lot 4 and the northeast corner of Lot 17 aforesaid; thence southerly along the easterly line of said Lot 17 a distance of 90.0 feet to the southeast corner of said Lot 17 and the northeast corner of Lot 16 aforesaid; thence southerly along the easterly line of said Lot 16; thence northerly parallel with the easterly line of Block B aforesaid a distance of 185.0 feet to a point; thence easterly parallel with the northerly line of said Lot 4 a distance of 160.0 feet to a point lying on the easterly line of said Lot 4; thence southerly along the easterly line of said Lot 4 a distance of 10.0 feet to the point of beginning, subject to easements, rest...
