BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby adopts the Metropolitan Area Traffic Authority's Street and Highway Planning Study as prepared by Garver and Garver engineers with the conditions an noted below:
SECTION 2: CONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCES IS BASED ON:
Deletion Of:
-Washington/Matthews One-Way Couplet
-Madison/Church One Way Couplet
-Kitchen Street Recommendations
REEVALUATION OF THE FOLLOWING:
-Priorities (E.G. Traffic Signals)
-East Matthews/Stadium Blvd Exchange
-Function of Johnson Ave
-Stadium Boulevard/Caraway Road
-Proposed Street Widths in West Jonesboro
-Central Business District
-Thomas Green Road
-Nettleton Avenue (West Of Caraway)
-Nettleton Avenue (Highland Of Industrial)
SECTION 3: This Ordinance, being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, there is hereby declared to be an emergency and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
