Monday, December 31, 2004
Budget Meeting - Mayor’s Conference Room 9:00 a.m.
Members Present: Alec Farmer, Darrel Dover, Jim Hargis, Harold Perrin, Ann Williams, and Bill Roddy.
Councilman Farmer moved seconded by Councilman Perrin make the following adjustments to the Mayor-Elect Budget dated December 31, 2004:
• A 10% decrease in fixed assets for all departments with fixed assets over $25,000.00
• Freeze all new full time hires with the exception of 4 fire fighter positions until July 1, 2005.
• Freeze all new fixed assets until July 1, 2005.
• Establish a committee made up of Mayor-Elect Formon, Councilman Farmer, and Finance Director Larry Flowers for the purpose of making recommendations to the Finance Committee for the restructuring of revenue sources by July 1, 2005.
With no further business the meeting was adjourned.
