RESOLUTION TO RECOGNIZE INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED WITH THE MAIN STREET JONESBORO SESQUICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION

WHEREAS, the following individuals have served the City of Jonesboro in coordinating the Main Street Jonesboro Sesquicentennial Celebration:
Cindy French, Co-Chairman
Nancy Elphingstone, Co-chairman
Grovernel Grisham, Entertainment
Kathie Graddy, Art Exhibits and Competition
Phyllis Burkett, Opening Ceremonies
Mary Shaver, Rice-Tasting Luncheon
Martha Wall, County Sesquicentennial Committee
Stan Daniel, Downtown Merchants Association
Sue Bryant, Craft Demonstrations
Linda Smith, Historic Displays
AND,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make this resolution a part of the permanent record, and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the excellent and untiring service that the above individuals have rendered to the City of Jonesboro and its citizens during the Main Street Jonesboro Celebration.
THEREFORE, be it resolved that each of the above have performed a great service for our City and its people and the City Council and the citizens of Jonesboro greatly appreciate their service.
