RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER AND ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR THE MATA MATTHEWS AVENUE CONSTRUCTION II PROJECT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

1.                     A change order in the amount of $94,636 is hereby approved to the existing contract with Meadows Construction Company, Inc.  for the completion of the MATA Matthews Avenue Construction II Project

2.                     The sum of $11,330 is to be provided from allocated MATA funds

3.                     The sum of $49,363 is allocated from funds appropriated in the 2003 City budget, Account Number 13-100-152-00, for drainage improvements near the First Baptist Church

4.                     The sum of $33,943 is allocated from funds appropriated in the 2003 City budget, Account Number 13-100-152-00, for drainage improvements near the First United Methodist Church.

5.                     This resolution shall take effect immediately.
