RESOLUTION TO CONGRATULATE THE B.B. VANCE “SLUGGERS” SOFTBALL TEAM FOR WINNING THE 1995 STATE SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

WHEREAS, in recognition of the dedication shown by the B.B. Vance "Sluggers" Eight and Under Softball Team, and for their representation of Jonesboro in the 1995 Softball State Championship; and
WHEREAS, due to the devotion of the "Sluggers" Coaching Staff: David Trammell, Bret Huggins and Scotty Nelson; and
WHEREAS, due to the commitment shown by the "Sluggers" players:

WHEREAS, due to the support of B.B. Vance & Sons, sponsors for the "Sluggers" team;
BE IT THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas the adoption of this resolution is in honor of the B.B. Vance "Sluggers" softball team for their achievements in winning the 1995 State Softball Championship in the eight and under division, and to offer our congratulations on their victory.
