RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON A RIGHT OF WAY ON LOUIE LANE AS REQUESTED BY TERESA BRIMHALL

WHEREAS, the property owner has filed a petition pursuant to ACA 14-301-301 et. seq. with the City Clerk of the City Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that the Louie Lane Right-of-Way between Covey Road and Neely Road be abandoned as described and as shown on the attached plats;

WHEREAS, the Petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; AND

WHEREAS, said statute requires public notice before the above Right-of-Way can be vacated and abandoned;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public of the request by the property owner to vacate and abandon the unimproved portion of said street mentioned above and this matter will be heard before the City Council on March 20, 2000 at 6:15 o'clock p.m. in Council Chambers, located at 900 W. Monroe, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
