Board of Developmental Disabilities Services entered into a lease agreement with the City for 40 acres that is to be used as baseball fields and additional 19.25 acres and was signed on September 22, 1997. The contract amount is for $5,925 annually and the length of the lease is from July 1, 1997 to December 31, 2027.
The lease was extended with the initial term will be for a period of 50 years commencing on August 4, 2011, and terminate on August 4, 2061, and was signed on April 23, 2012. The contract amount is for $5,925 per year a for total of $296,250. The resolution number is RES-11:195 and was approved by Council on December 6, 2011.
