RESOLUTION TO MODIFY THE CITY'S PAY PLAN TO ADD ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION AND SYSTEMS ANALYST POSITIONS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro's Wage and Salary Management Plan was adopted by Resolution No. 1995:67 and is currently in effect; and
WHEREAS, a need has been identified to modify the City of Jonesboro's current Wage and Salary Management Plan to insure optimum performance and effectiveness level for all employees;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, that the City of Jonesboro's Wage and Salary Management Plan shall be modified to reflect the following changes, which are attached hereto as Exhibit A and are thereby adopted, and the City Human Resources Director and Finance Director are hereby directed to implement as follows:
1. The position of Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation be created and established as an Exempt Salary Grade 3.
2. The position of Systems Analyst be created in the Information Systems Department and established as an Exempt Salary Grade 3.
