WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to spread upon the permanent records of the City of Jonesboro, AR affirming a Resolution of the Board of Directors of City Water and Light commending Ralph "Pop" Stricklin through the designation of the area leased to the City in Medallion Acres for use as a park by naming the area as "Ralph 'Pop' Stricklin Park".

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro recognizes the unselfish public service by Alderman Stricklin and affirms the public recognition by CWL through the naming of said park.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 5^thday of February, 1990.
