WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro needs specialized legal representation in the area of cable television to proceed with issues related to decisions regarding granting franchise agreements.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1:  The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to effectuate this agreement.

Section 2:  The funding for the execution of this agreement shall come from the account 01-131-0217-00, Professional Services - Mayor's Office.
