RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO VACATE AND ABANDON A UTILITY EASEMENT AND ALL OF THE UNIMPROVED STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY OF CRESTFIELD COVE IN WOODLAND HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION PHASE V

WHEREAS, the property owners have filed a petition with the City Clerk of Jonesboro, Arkansas, requesting that a ten (10') feet unimproved utility easement along the West 10' of Lot 12, the Southeast 10' of Lot 13, the South 10' of Lot 14, and the East 10' of Lot 15 Block 'G" (all being adjacent to the street right-of-way of Crestfield Cove) and all of the unimproved street right-of-way of Crestfield Cove of Woodland Heights Subdivision Phase V in the City of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; AND
WHEREAS, Arkansas Statute Annotated 19-3814 requires a two week public notice before the above unimproved utility easement and unimproved street right-of-way can be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public of the request by the property owners to vacate and abandon the unimproved said utility easement and unimproved street right-of-way, and this matter will be heard before the City Council on January 4th, 2005 at 6:20 p.m. at City Chambers, 900 W. Monroe, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
