A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ROAD IMPROVEMENTS FOR MATT DRIVE, BRIAR DRIVE, AND ALEX DRIVE AS PRICED IN BID 2006:41

WHEREAS, there is a need to have road improvements on Matt Drive, Briar Drive, and Alex Drive in the City of Jonesboro;

WHEREAS, bid for the purchase of the road improvements have been taken, with the low bid of $95,195.00 being received from Richard Baughn Construction, Inc. And

WHEREAS, the money for the said services will be obtained from the Council as an appropriation by ordinance.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

The Mayor and/or Purchasing Agent are hereby authorized, based upon the need of the improvements, to accept the bid from Richard Baughn Construction, Inc.
