RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH ISS FACILITY SERVICES FOR THE CLEANING OF CITY OWNED BUILDINGS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro solicited bids for the privatization of cleaning services for various city owned buildings; AND
WHERAS, no appropriation is necessary since the contract shall be paid with funds coming from various city departments; AND
WHEREAS, the Director of Building & Maintenance, and the Administration recommend ISS Facility Services.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro accepts the bid from ISS Facility Services and authorizes the Mayor to negotiate the contract at a price not to exceed $10,884.94 per month.
SECTION 2: The Mayor, Harold Perrin and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
