AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAKING OF REPAIRS TO THE JONESBORO MUNICIPAL AIRPORT ACCORDING TO THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS MADE BY FRED HAYWOOD, CIVIL ENGINEER, DATED THE 7TH DAY OF JUNE, 1948, AND APPROVED BY THE CIVIL AERONAUTICS ADMINISTRATION AUGUST 2, 1948, AND OTHER REPAIRS

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That the City of Jonesboro is hereby authorized to make the repairs for the Municipal Airport of Jonesboro, Arkansas, as set out in the plans and specifications prepared by Fred Haywood, Civil Engineer, dated the 7th day of June, 1948, and approved by the Civil Aeronautics Administration on August 2, 1948, and the expenditure of funds necessary to make said repairs is hereby authorized.
SECTION 2. The Board of Public Affairs of Jonesboro, Arkansas is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the letting of the contract to do said work by giving public notice of the time and place for the accepting of bids in some paper with a bona fide circulation in Jonesboro, Craighead County, for one week, as required by law, and let the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
