AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE A PORTION OF AN UN-IMPROVED STREET OR ALLEY:

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to a portion of an alley designated as follows, with the exception listed in section two.
A part of the NW 1/4 SW 1/4 of Section 29, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, being more particularly described as follows; begin at the Southeast Corner of Lot 19 of Southridge Subdivision, Phase IV-B, Jonesboro, Arkansas; thence S77°33'00"W 170.00' to the centerline of Fernwood Drive; thence S12°27'00"E 40.00'; thence S49°19'24"E-50.00' to the point of beginning proper, said point being on a curve left whose radius = 819.66'; thence Southerly along said 190.11' to the p.t. of said curve; thence S25°52'30"E 119.59' to the p.c. of a curve left whose radius = 26.72'; thence Easterly along said curve 46.16' to the p.t. of said curve, said point being on the North R/W curve of Windover Road whose radius = 393.38'; thence Westerly along said R/W curve 122.22' to the p.c. of a curve Left whose radius = 2672'; thence Northerly along said curve 46.11' to the p.t. of said curve; thence N25°52'30"W 119.70' to the p.c. of a curve Right whose radius = 879.66'; thence Northerly along said curve 204.16' to a point on a curve Left whose radius = 50.00'; thence Easterly along said curve 64.35' to the point of beginning proper, containing, 0.48 acres, more or less, subject to all Rights Of Way and easements of record.
SECTION 2: A copy of the Ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office Of the Recorder of the County and Recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas finds and declares that the above street or alley and portions of streets or alleys are not necessary for the general benef...
