RESOLUTION TO GRANT AN EASEMENT TO CITY WATER AND LIGHT TO INSTALL A METER STATION AT THE CORNER OF MOORE AND PARKER ROADS

WHEREAS, City Water and Light of Jonesboro, Arkansas, has undertaken to install a metering station at the northeast corner of Moore Road and Parker Road; more specifically, as shown on the attached Certificate of Survey by Haywood, Kenward & Associates, Drawing No. D-347, as follows:
A part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter Section 25, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Jonesboro, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows; Begin at the South Quarter Corner of Section 25, Township 14 North, Range 4 East; thence N 88° 52’ E 60’; thence North 60’ to the point of beginning proper; thence North 15’; thence N 88° 52’ E 15’; thence South 15’ thence S 88° 52’ W 15’ to the point of beginning proper containing 0.005 acres more or less, all as being shown on the plat hereon.
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas has approved this project, and
WHEREAS, a 10 foot ingress/egress is needed from Parker Road to the metering station,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas: That the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas does hereby grant an easement to the said City Water and Light for the purpose of installation, maintenance and operation of a metering station at the above location.
