CITY COUNCIL AGENDA - February 5, 2001
1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.
2. Roll call by Clerk.
3. Approval of minutes from January 15, 2001 as delivered.
4. City Attorney:
A. 1st Reading - Ordinance amending the year 2000 Annual Budget Ordinance for the City of
Jonesboro.
5. Request by Shelby Riley for placement of a mobile home located at 211 Cedar Street for
medical hardship reasons.
6. Resolution expressing the willingness of the City of Jonesboro Arkansas to participate under
the 2000 LLEGB Program.
7. Resolution naming judges, clerks, and alternate workers to serve in the election for City
Water and Light Board of Directors.
8. Review the following appointments/reappointments:
● Appoint Ronald Bennett to replace Ed Gill on the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission with an expiration date of January, 2003.
●Reappoint Mike Johnson to the Craighead County and Jonesboro Public Library Board
for a (5) five year term with an expiration date of January 2006.
