1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.
 
2. Roll call by Clerk.
 
3. Approval of minutes from August 3, 1998, as provided.
 
4. City Attorney:
 
(A) 3rd reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3), located on the north side of Woodsprings Road, west of Highway 63 Bypass. (Charles Layne)
 
(B) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-4), located 2115 N. Patrick Street. (James Halbrook)
 
(C) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Industrial (I-1), located on the west side of E. Nettleton Ave, a quarter of a mile north of Ingels Road. (Floyd Vuncannon)
 
(D) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3) located on the north side of Sunnymeadow Drive, east of Caraway Road. (Roddy Thrasher)
 
(E) 1st reading - Ordinance amending Chapters 8.40 and 8.44 of the Jonesboro Code of Ordinances to allow parking in the 600 Block of Poplar (North Side Only); and to prohibit parking within 100 feet of the Flint Street intersection (Both Sides).
 
5. Resolution expressing the willingness of the City of Jonesboro to utilize federal-aid funds for a signalization project at Highland Drive and Commerce Drive.
