D&J Enterprises was awarded the contract for the removal and disposal of debris related to the winter ice storm of 2009 was signed on February 17, 2009. The contract amount is for $1.00 for mobilization & demobilization and $4.54 per cubic yard for removal & disposal of debris and the work shall be completed within 45 days after commencement of the work. The ordinance number is ORD-09:012 and was approved by the City Council on February 17, 2009.
 
The completion date for the work was amended by Change Order #1 to 75 days. The resolution number is RES-09:065 and was approved by the City Council on April 7, 2009.
 
The completion date for the work was amended again by Change Order #2 to 165 days. The ordinance number is ORD-09:028 and was approved by the City Council on May 11, 2009. ORD-09:028 also authorizesthe use of reserve funds balances to finance the cost of the debris removal.
