A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CONTRACT WITH RSA, INC DBA NRS ENGINEERING FOR THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION OF DETENTION PONDS ON SOUTH OF NETTLETON AVENUE

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro also desires to construct two detention ponds approximately ½ mile south of 611 E. Nettleton and one detention pond at 611 E. Nettleton

WHEREAS, said detention ponds are needed to control flooding;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

SECTION 1:      That the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas shall contract with RSA, Inc. dba NRS Engineering for the design and construction inspection of a detention pond south of 611 E. Nettleton and one detention pond at 611 E. Nettleton.  The fee for the design and inspection of these ponds shall be $33,000.00 for design and $17,000.00 for inspection.

SECTION 2:      The Mayor, Doug Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
