BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

 

SECTION 1:                     TITLE 14, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS BE AMENDED AS RECOMMENDED BY THE METROPOLITAN AREA PLANNING COMMISSION BY THE CHANGES IN ZONING CLASSIFICATION AS FOLLOWS:

 

FROM Residential, R-1 TO Commercial C-4 - LU, THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY:

 

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

 

A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 11, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, AR, more particularly described as follows:

From the Southeast corner of Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 11;

thence run N 00°00’00” E, along the East line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 11, a distance of 867-97 feet to a point;

thence leaving said East line, run S 87°38’11” W, a distance of 114.57 feet to a point;

thence run N 00°00’14” W, a distance of 61.34 feet to a point, said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING;

thence S 87°19’07” W, a distance of 276.65 feet to a point;

thence N 00°00’02” E, a distance of 317.00 feet to a point on the South right-of-way of US Highway 49;

thence along said right-of-way, N 87°52’02” E, a distance of 276.52 feet to a point;

thence leaving said right-of-way, S 00°00’14” E, a distance of 314.35 feet to a point;

said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING, said tract containing 2.00 acres.

 

SECTION 2:                     DEVELOPMENT OF THIS TRACT SHALL INCLUDE A TWENTY FOOT (20’) BUFFER ALONG THE BOUNDARY LINES THAT ADJOIN EXISTING RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT.
