SPECIAL CALLED MEETING-AUGUST 27, 2004

The Jonesboro City Council met Friday, August 27, 2004, at 5:15 p.m. in a special called meeting of the Jonesboro City Council. A full quorum was in attendance. Present were: Mayor Hubert Brodell, City Clerk, Donna K. Jackson, City Attorney Crego and nine council members. Those members were: Province, Hargis, Williams, Perrin, Street, Young, Dover, McCall, and Roddy.

The purpose of the called meeting was to discuss the conditions of the 404 Permit for Turtle Creek Mall. City Attorney Crego read the resolution in full. Mayor Brodell recognized Mr. Bernie Auld who presented the General Conditions and Special Conditions of the 404 Permit with the Corp of Engineers. He explained the majority of the conditions came from the Development Plan Set which was approved by the MAPC and the Jonesboro City Council. He further explained the only change made was additional vegetation in the greenway as a safety measure. Councilman Perrin moved, seconded by Councilman Dover for the adoption of a resolution authorizing the Mayor (and/or his Designee) and the City Clerk to accept the permit for the Turtle Creek Project Public Notice II. MVM 2004-317 (JLS) Reference #2004-00317. The resolution was assigned number 2004:68.

With no further business Councilman Young moved, seconded by Councilman Dover for adjournment.
