RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE SMALLER SCALED ZONING MAP FOR THE NORTH HALF OF SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 3 EAST

BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
WHEREAS, because of the large scale of the official zoning may filed with Ordinance No.954, there has been an uncertainty with respect to the exact boundary lines as shown on said map particularly with respect to the boundary line of C-3 Intermediate Business District in the vicinity of Gee Street, Nettleton Circle, and Cherry Avenue and the City Planning Commission has fund it desirable to prepare a smaller scale map and has certified to the City Council of Jonesboro such smaller scale map of a part of the North Half of Section 24, Township 14 North, Range Three East, as being a better delineation of the district boundary lines in relation to the actual property lines.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the attached map, prepared and certified by the City Planning Commission, of a part of the North Half of Section, Township 14 North, Range Three East, be and the same is hereby made a part of the official Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 954; that same be filed in the office of the City Clerk and a certified copy thereof be filed in the office of the Recorder of Craighead County, not as an amendment to Ordinance No.954, but as a more clear delineation of the district boundary lines as reflected on the official map, and further that same is hereby made a part of said official map and Ordinance No.954.
