A RESOLUTION BY THE JONESBORO CITY COUNCIL TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT A PERMANENT DRAINAGE EASEMENT FROM SOUTHERN HILLS REAL ESTATE LLC FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING AND MAINTAINING DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to accept the following described easement for the purpose of constructing and maintaining drainage improvements:
A part of Lot 6R, of The Second Replat of Block C, Southern Hills Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southernmost corner of said Lot 6R, said point also being on the Northerly Right-of-Way of Southern Creek Lane, Thence North 50° 49' 15" West, a distance of 227.37 feet to the Southerly Right-of-Way of Arkansas Highway #49 (Job #100454); Thence along said Right-of-Way North 41° 11' 19" East, a distance of 5.00 feet; Thence South 50° 49' 15" East leaving Right-of-Way, a distance of 227.27 feet to the Northerly Right-of-Way of Southern Creek Lane; Thence along said Right-of-Way and along a curve turning to the left through 00° 06' 38.8", having a radius of 2586.13 feet, and whose long chord bears South 40° 02' 53" West/or a distance of 5.00 feet to the to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 0.03 acres, 1,137 sq.ft., more or less, and being subject to all Rights of Way and easements of record.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to accept the easement described above.
