RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONSOLIDATED PLAN/ACTION PLAN, DATED JUNE 16, 1997, FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS INCLUDING THE 1997 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECTS AND BUDGET (NOTE: THIS PLAN WAS AMENDED BY RES-98:1005 ON NOVEMBER 16, 1998; RES-99:975 ON APRIL 19, 1999; RES-99:944 ON OCTOBER 4, 1999)

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro is required to hold public hearings and approve their Consolidated Plan for the entire City; and
WHEREAS, the Consolidated Plan must include an action plan for the first year of the Five Year Consolidated Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Consolidated Plan/Action Plan contains the first year (1997) Community Development Block Grant Program Projects and Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the Consolidated Plan/Action Plan, dated June 16, 1997, attached hereto is hereby approved in its entirety.
SECTION 2: That the first year (1997) CDBG Projects and Budget are noted and approved as a part of the Plan.
SECTION 3: That the Mayor or Community Development Grants Coordinator is directed to sign all documents, as necessary to assure the Consolidated Plan/Action Plan is submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban Development on or about July 15, 1997.
SECTION 4: That any and all resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby waived.
SECTION 5: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
