RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE CONTRACT TO PURCHASE PROPERTY FROM THE AIRPORT COMMISSION

WHEREAS, officials designated in Ordinance No. 933 have agreed on terms of Contact, Lease Agreement, Escrow Agreement and Warranty Deed, and the same have been presented to the City Council and found to be in accord with the Ordinances and Resolutions heretofore adopted, to be beneficial to the City of Jonesboro and in the public interests.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
That the Mayor, the City Clerk, and the Chairman and Secretary of the Airport Commission be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute, deliver and do all things necessary to effectuate the terms, conditions and requirements and to bind the City of Jonesboro to Contract, Lease, Escrow Agreement and Warranty Deed attached hereto and identified by signature or initials of the Mayor, and to date same at time of delivery or execution.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of August, 1957.
