AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 954, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CHANGE IN ZONING BOUNDARIES

WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission has heard all persons desiring to be heard regarding the proposed rezoning of certain property generally located in the 6700 block of East Highland and has recommended to the City Council rezoning as described below:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 954, known as the Zoning Ordinance be and the same is hereby amended by the change in zoning district classifications from Agricultural (AG-1) to Industrial (I-1) for the following described property:
Part of the East ½ of the NE ¼ of Section 25 T14N-R4E, more particularly described as follows: Begin at the NE corner of said Section 25, Thence N. 89°50’0” W. 106.03 feet; Thence S. 82°0’58” w. 292.92 feet; Thence S. 86° 13’1” W. 60.54 feet to the Point of Beginning thence S. 1°41’26” W. 983.95 feet; Thence S. 89°3’57” W. 819.7 feet; Thence N. 1° 29’ 19” E. 993.15 feet; Thence S. 89°24’ 30” E. 600.88 feet; Thence N. 88°58’19” E. 94.24 feet; Thence N. 86°13’1” E. 128.03 feet to the Point of Beginning containing 18.53 acres, more or less.
