METROPOLITAN AREA PLANNING COMMISSION
MAY 16, 2001 (CALLED MEETING)
MEMBERS PRESENT: Beadles, Gott, Phillips, Shaw, Krennerich, Johnson, Little, Damron
MEMBERS ABSENT: None (one appointment vacant)
The MAPC met in a called meeting Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at 12:00 p.m. in the Mayor’s conference room at City Hall to review the proposed Zoning Ordinance as prepared by Jeff Hawkins, City Planner, and reviewed and approved by a citizens’ committee composed of George Krennerich, Betty Shaw, Ronnie Stallings, Carroll Caldwell, Alec Farmer, Bob Wood, Herschel Gaines and Spud Clark.
At the conclusion of the discussion and minor modifications with some spelling and grammar changes, a motion was made by Mr. Phillips to recommend adoption of the Zoning Ordinance to the City Council as amended. The motion was seconded by Mr. Damron. All members present voting aye, MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
Dr. Beadles commended Jeff Hawkins, George Krennerich and the other members of the codes committee for all their work in preparing the zoning ordinance.
