Nominating and Rules Committee
October 6, 2003

The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Alderman McCall. Members present were: Aldermen Tim McCall, Chris Moore and Alec Farmer. Also present were Mayor Brodell, Councilwoman Judy Furr, Mr. Greg Chance, KASU, and City Clerk Donna Jackson.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Councilman Farmer moved, seconded by Councilman Moore for the approval of the minutes for September 2, 2003 as read. All voted aye.
RESOLUTION - MENTAL HEALTH GRANT
Councilman Moore moved, seconded by Councilman Farmer to place the item on the agenda for consideration. All voted aye.
COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS
Councilman Farmer moved, seconded by Councilman Moore to recommend the following committee changes to the full council.
• Cecil Province to replace Paul Copeland on the Nominating and Rules Committee and on the Infrastructure Committee, with the Parking Subcommittee to be under the Infrastructure Committee instead of the Transportation Committee.
• Judy Furr to replace Cecil Province on the Public Services Committee.
• Judy Furr to replace Paul Copeland on the Public Safety Committee.
All voted aye.
Councilman Farmer moved, seconded by Councilman Moore for adjournment. All voted aye.
