The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission met on October 7, 1970 at 7:30 P.M. in the courtroom at City Hall.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Scott, King, and Melton.
OTHERS PRESENT: Daniel Moore, M.S. Malik (from Harland Bartholomew and Associates), Mr. Steve Crabtree (from the Northeast Arkansas Economic Development), Judge Bill Clark, Mayor Neil Stallings, and Mr. Gene Martz (building inspector).
Mr. Moore discussed the preliminary report on the Neighborhood Analysis. Mr. Malik discussed in detail along with the report two large maps. One showing the location of Mobile Homes and Trailer parks and the other showing Housing Conditions in the City.
The City was divided into fifteen neighborhoods and the condition of each neighborhood was discussed.
Meeting adjourned at 9:00 P.M.
