1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.
2. Roll Call by City Clerk.
3. Approval of minutes from January 20, 2004 as delivered.
4. Financial Report.
(Financial Report 1st meeting of the month, and Legal Report 2nd meeting of the month)
5. City Attorney:
A. 1st Reading - Ordinance authorizing the payment of compensatory time to employees for the purpose of limiting the accumulation of compensatory time to a maximum of 40 hours.
B. 1st Reading - Ordinance to appropriate funds for the purchase of property to reopen Ransome Lane.
C. 1st Reading - Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 3379, the Purchasing Manual for various purposes.
D. 1st Reading - Ordinance to amend Ordinances 3040 and 3051, deleting the position of Director of Public Safety and replacing it with the position of Chief of Police.
6. Resolution amending the names of Director of Public Safety, Police Chief and Fire Chief within the City’s Classification and Compensation Plan.
7. Resolution establishing the position of Fire Chief within the City’s Classification and Compensation Plan.
8. Resolution to amend the Employee Handbook to include a new compensatory time provision for all city employees.
9. Resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter a contract to purchase property for a regional detention pond located at Lot 10, Block B Quail Ridge 3rd Addition (3411 Quail Ridge).
10. Resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter a contract with Condrey and Associates to provide job descriptions for all city employees.
11. Resolution approving the revised 2004 Community Development Block Grant Project Activities.
