A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO AUTHORIZE THE SALE OF THE VALLEY VIEW FIRE STATION (5416 MAPLE VALLEY DRIVE)

WHEREAS, the City is the owner of the following described real property located in Craighead County, Arkansas:

Lot 8 in Clear View Estates, as shown by plat recorded in Plat Cabinet “8” at page 29, subject to Bill of Assurance recorded in Deed Record 334, page 274 at Jonesboro, Arkansas, and subject to easements as shown on recorded

WHEREAS, the high bid of $50,501 was submitted by Mr. Wade Carpenter; and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to accept this high bid and proceed with the sale of the described property;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and accept such documents as are necessary to effectuate this agreement.
