RESOLUTION OF CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS APPROVING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM ADMINISTRATIVE BUDGET, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development approved the First year, 1975-1976, Community Development Block Grant Program Application on April 21, 1975, as authorized by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (Public Law 93-383); and,

WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development will review and approve the Second-Year, 1976-1977, Community Development Application; and,

WHEREAS, certain activities are necessary in order to carry out the Community Development Block Grant Program (1976-1977); and

WHEREAS, the Jonesboro Urban Renewal and Housing Authority’s Administrative Budget, which is attached hereto in the amount of $54,000.00, is necessary for approval in order to carry out the Community Development Program;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the Community Development Block Grant Administrative Budget, attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution, is hereby approved in the amount of $54,000.00.
