AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 954, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CHANGE IN ZONING BOUNDARIES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

 

SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 954, known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas be amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the changes in zoning classification as follows:

 

From Residential One (R-1) to Commercial Three (C-3) the following described property:

 

Commercial Lot 1 of G & S First Subdivision of a part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, as shown on Plat in Plat Cabinet “A” page 16, subject to Bill of Assurance in Deed Record 249, Page 661, at Jonesboro, Arkansas, and to easements as shown on said plat, and

 

Lot 1 of the Jimmy Doyle Hunt Replat of James and Linda Cole’s Replat of Lot 1 & 2 of G & S First Subdivision, and

 

A part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 7, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:  Commencing at the Northeast Corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 7, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, thence South 89°54’ W. 31.3 feet to the West right of way line of Highway #141, the point of beginning proper, thence South 1°38’ West 169.0 feet; thence North 0° 28’ East 169.0 feet, thence North 89° 54’ East 176.0 feet to the point of beginning proper, containing 0.68 acres.
