BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

Section 1: From and after the passage and adoption of this Ordinance, no person, firm or corporation shall park, stop or leave standing any vehicle of any kind whatsoever on the South Side of East Washington Avenue from Carson Street to East Washington Avenue’s intersection with East Matthews Avenue.

Section 2: The Chief of Police or some person designated by him is hereby directed to place and locate appropriate signs reading “NO PARKING” at appropriate places along the South Side of the aforesaid street, and it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to tear down, remove or mutilate such signs.
