AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON AN UNIMPROVED PORTION OF A TEN "10" FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN MERRYMAN'S SUBDIVISION

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the utility easement designated as follows:
Part of Lot 6 of a Re-Plat of Merryman Re-Plat and part of Lot 5 of the Re-Plat of the South Half Of Lot 2 of Larid's Survey of the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 14 North, Range 4 East all being in Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
Begin at the Southwest Corner of Lot 5 of the Replat of the South Half of Lot 2 of Laird's Survey of the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas; thence North 0°07'47" East along the West Line of Lot 5 aforesaid, 113.76 feet to the point of beginning proper; thence Continue North 0°07'47" East along said West Line and the West Line of Lot 6 of a Re-Plat of Merryman Re-Plat to the City of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, 10.00 feet; thence North 89°12'50" East 72.50 Feet to the East Line of Lot 6 of a Re-Plat of Merryman Re-Plat aforesaid; thence South 0°07'47" West along the East Lot Line, of Lot 5 and Lot 6 aforesaid 10.00 feet; thence South 89°12'50" West 72.50 feet to the point of beginning proper.
SECTION 2: A copy of the ordinance certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Craighead County, Arkansas, and shall be filed in the Deed Records of such office.
