AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1638, BEING AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING MAXIMUM TIME LIMITS PARKING ON CITY STREETS AND PARKING LOTS WITHIN THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS; AND FOR PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

SECTION 1.  The following shall be added as Section 6 of said Ordinance:

“The City Collector shall be authorized to lease 86 parking spaces on city owned parking lots to private individuals at the rate of $10.00 per month.  The 86 parking spaces shall be as follows:

(a) 43 parking spaces on the parking lot of the Northwest corner of the intersection of Church Street and Jefferson Street;

(b) 12 spaces on the Church Street parking lot in the 300 block of Church Street; and

(c) 32 spaces in the Union Street parking lot.”

SECTION 2.  The effective date of this Ordinance shall be January 1^st, 1985.

SECTION 3.  All ordinances and/or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
