RESOLUTION TO CHARGE $.30 PER COPY OF ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro finds that there is a tremendous demand for photocopies of ordinances, resolutions and other documents, official and unofficial, with the exception of Police Department documents;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas feels that the cost of such copies is a financial burden to the City of Jonesboro; and
WHEREAS, the Jonesboro City Council anticipates the number of requests for copies of ordinances, resolutions and other documents, official and unofficial, will increase in the future;
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that photocopies of any ordinance, resolution or other document, official or unofficial, except Police Department documents shall be subject to a charge of thirty-cents ($ .30) per copy. Payable by the person or persons requesting the copies and payable to the City Collector of the City of Jonesboro.
