AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX LOTS 1 AND 2 OF COBB’S SURVEY OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 4 EAST, TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, AR

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
That, it being determined that the County Court of Craighead County, Arkansas, has entered an Order of Annexation, after due notice and according to the provisions of law, on March 24, 1954, and that the City Council plans that it should accept said territory into and be a part of the City, IT IS THEREFORE, ORDAINED and the City does hereby accept
LOTS 1 and 2 of Cobb’s Survey of the Northwest Quarter of Section 20, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, said lots being the East 28 acres of the Northwest Quarter of Northeast Quarter of said Section; and the Northeast Quarter of Northwest Quarter of Section 20, Township14 North, Range 4 East;
and said tract and land shall be and is hereby made a part of the City of Jonesboro, annexed thereto, and accepted, and shall be deemed and taken to be a part and parcel of the limits of the City of Jonesboro, and the inhabitants residing therein shall have and enjoy all the rights and privileges of the inhabitants within the original limits of the city.
