A RESOLUTION TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE MAYOR

WHEREAS, the boards and commissions appointments are as follows:

PARKS CITIZEN PLANNING AND ADVISORY BOARD (PARKS ADVISORY BOARD):

Scott McDaniel is hereby appointed to a three year term replacing Fred Hargett with an expiration of December 31, 2010.

Pat Edwards is hereby appointed to a three year term replacing Al Poston with an expiration of December 31, 2010.

Mike Massengill is hereby reappointed to a three year term expiring December 31, 2010.

URBAN FORESTRY COUNCIL

Todd Smith is hereby appointed to a three year term replacing Ann Waits with an expiration of December 31, 2010.

Martha Calvin is hereby appointed to a three year term replacing Christy Appleton with an expiration of December 31, 2010.

Matt Simpson is hereby appointed as the Craighead County Forester representative replacing Brian McElroy.

ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONS COMMISSION

Naziroddin Kazi is hereby appointed to fulfill the unexpired term of Sara Reid with an expiration of April 30, 2009.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF

JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT: the above commission and board appointments are confirmed as recommended by Mayor Formon.
