A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO UTILIZE FEDERAL-AID MONIES FOR THE FOLLOWING CITY PROJECT:

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro understands Federal-Aid Surface Transportation Funds are available for certain City Projects at the following federal participating ratios:
WORK PHASE FED SHARE CITY
1. Traffic Signals Construction & 100% -0-
Engineering
2. Intersection Imp. Construction 100% -0-
Engineering
Right Of Way & 80% 20%
Utilities
3. Roadway & Br. All Phases 80% 20 %
Construction
4. Programmed City All Phases -0- 100%
Projects Not Let
To Contract
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro Arkansas, that:
SECTION ONE: the City will participate in accordance with its designated responsibility in this project.
SECTION TWO: the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute all appropriated agreements and contracts necessary to expedite the construction of this City Project.
SECTION THREE: the City pledges its full support and hereby authorizes the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department to initiate action to construct this City Project.
