RESOLUTION TO ABANDON ALLEY IN BLOCK "F" OF GREGGS SUB-DIVISION AS REQUESTED BY E.C. BARTON AND COMPANY

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
 
WHEREAS: a petition has been filed by E. C. Barton & Company and others praying that an alley in Block "F" of Gregg's Sub-division of Lane's Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be abandoned and closed as follows:
 
An alley running East and West through Block "F" of Gregg's Sub-division of Lane's Addition to the City of Jonesboro, such alley extending from Nesbitt Street on the East to Chestnut Street on the West, and being an alley twenty feet (20) in width.
 
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT THE City clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas give notice by publication once a week for two weeks in some newspaper published in Craighead County, Advertising the property owners affected that on the 18th day of April, 1955 the Council will hear the petition and determine whether such property owners and other persons directly interest have consented to such abandonment.
