A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT A POLICY FOR FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT OF GRANTS

WHEREAS, grants represent a valuable source of funding for projects to benefit the citizens of the City of Jonesboro; and

WHEREAS, to ensure that grantors continue to view the City of Jonesboro as a worthy recipient of these funds, the City must comply with all financial requirements imposed by grantors;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1: The attached policy, titled “Grants Financial Management Policy”, is hereby adopted.

PASSED and ADOPTED the 17^th day of November, 2009.
