RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE ABANDONMENT OF DANNY DRIVE

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
That on the 5th day of July, 1977, is hereby affixed as the day for the hearing upon the petition of Lonnie Hudson, Van Hudson, Jami-Bee Motel, Inc., and Clinton Bowers and Marie Bowers, requesting the abandonment and vacating of the following described street in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
A parcel of land described as Danny Drive in the Brewer Addition to Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, said street running in a north-south direction and butting Lots 1 though 11 in said addition, all as set out in the attached survey and plat.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of the time and hearing of said meeting be publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in Craighead County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas. The notice shall state the names of the person who signed the petition, the name of the street or parts thereof to be vacated and shall identify same by the abutting lot and block numbers, and the notice shall advise all persons that on the 5th day of July, 1977, the Council will hear and determine whether the above described street shall be vacated.
