AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, WEST HALF OF SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF NORTHEAST QUARTER (EAST OF PUBLIC ROAD) OF SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 3 EAST

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
The County Court of Craighead County, Arkansas, having determined after due notice and according to the provisions of law that Wet Half of Southwest Quarter (East of Public Road) of Section 25, Township 14 North, Range 3 East should be annexed to the City of Jonesboro, and having on June 15, 1955 entered an Order annexing said land to the City of Jonesboro; and it now being found that said territory should be accepted into and made a part of the City of Jonesboro; and incorporated as a part of the third (3rd) ward.
It is therefore ordained that the above described lands are hereby accepted and made a part of the City of Jonesboro, and annexed thereto; and the persons residing therein shall have and enjoy all the rights and privileges of the inhabitants within the original limits of the City of Jonesboro.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of July, 1955.
