RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH GATEWAY ENGINEERING TO DECOMMISSION SIXTEEN MONITORING WELLS AT THE CLASS IV LANDFILL

WHEREAS, THE CITY OF JONESBORO IS IN NEED OF DECOMMISSIONING SIXTEEN (16) MONITORING WELLS; and

WHEREAS, Gateway Engineering Company will furnish labor, materials and equipment to decommission (16) monitoring wells at the Jonesboro's Class IV landfill to be completed within six weeks for a lump sum price of $7300.00;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

1.  That the City of Jonesboro enter into a contract with Gateway Engineering whereby Gateway Engineering will complete the decommissioning of (16) monitoring wells at the City of Jonesboro's Class IV landfill to be completed within six weeks for a lump sum of $7300.00.

2.  That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into such documents as are necessary to effectuate the terms of this Contract.
