RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION TO JAMES BRIDGER FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY AND THE CITIZENS AS AN ALDERMAN

WHEREAS, James E. Bridger has served the City of Jonesboro as an Alderman of the First Ward since January 1963, and

 

WHEREAS, Alderman Bridger has tendered his resignation to the Mayor of the City of Jonesboro, and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro desires to spread the following resolution upon the minutes:

 

RESOLVED, that the City Council recognizes the excellent, energetic and intelligent service that Mr. Bridger has rendered to the City during the years he has served as Alderman of the First Ward.

 

RESOLVED FURTHER, Mr. Bridger has performed an excellent service for our City and its people and the City Council and the people of Jonesboro greatly appreciate his untiring service. In accepting his resignation, the Council pays its deepest respect, esteem and admiration unto him.

 

FURTHER, RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall spread upon the official minutes and become a lasting tribute to Mr. Bridger for his devotion to duty. AND that a copy of this resolution be tendered to Mr. Bridger as an expression of the Council’s sincere appreciation and gratitude for the services rendered by him.
